Hope and Destiny Vocational / Community Center
The Hope and Destiny Academy will officially open in September 2015. We are providing alternative education for those who have never gone to school and those who need special education or had to drop out otherwise. Our future goal is to provide an Inclusive learning Institution where we can provide for all children. We will also provide life skills and vocational training. We will have teachers from both America and Cameroon working together to ensure the best education possible.
Here are our objectives for the school:
1. Foster a Christ-centered learning environment for children with learning disabilities.
2. Provide a quality education for disadvantaged children who have never been afforded the opportunity to attend school. Our focus is on Remedial Education and Special Education for those who need it, while also providing an opportunity for average children.
3. Provide holistic education for all children. Our Academy will provide academic education, spiritual education, agricultural training, and an introduction to Fine Arts. We care about their well-being, as well as their academic, spiritual, personal, and emotional growth.
4. Prepare students for higher education.
5. Empower children to become active and knowledgeable members of society. Our International staff and volunteers will foster a cultural education that will allow students to think globally while contributing to their local communities.
6. Our vocational training will begin with computer training, jewelry making and bread making. We will also offer classes in Entrepreneurship.

- Please pray for the vision of the school to come together and for the right teachers and staff to work with our students.
- Pray that our documents to legalize the school go through the process swiftly and without corruption.
- Sponsorship for our academic students is available. $35 per month can send a student to school and provide a daily meal for them for the academic school year from Sept - May. We would like to secure sponsors for 20 children.
- If you are a teacher that would like to come serve for a semester or have skills that could be utilized with our Vocational Training we would love to have you come and work with us.
- Teachers with experience in Fine Arts and/or agriculture are also welcome.
- We greatly need children's story books to build a comprehensive library.
